  • Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure that exfoliates your skin by removing the dead, outer layer of skin cells. This treatment can help improve the appearance of fine lines, blemishes, and scars, as well as remove brown spots caused by sun damage (vitiligo). Walk out of your treatment with clearer and smoother-looking skin!

  • Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation method that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to gently shave the top layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, dead skin layer, and vellus hair, aka peach fuzz. This treatment results in ultra-smooth, fresh, and brighter skin. By removing that dead layer and hair from the face, the skin is evened out, and it helps with cell metabolism, which helps new skin come to the surface.

  • Even the tone of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers and stimulate the growth of new cells. Peels contain different types of acids that have varying depths of skin penetration. During a chemical peel, the solution is gently applied to the skin. The application produces separation and eventually peels off layers of skin (sometimes visible, but many times invisible or “micro” peeling), enabling rejuvenated skin to appear.

Healthy skin is always in! Come in and retrieve your glow with a few sessions of microneedling.

  • Microneedling uses sterile, stainless steel needles that penetrate the skin without causing microtears and skin damage. These tiny punctures in the skin promote collagen production, which then, during the healing process, helps with the reduction of fine lines, large pores, scarring, dark spots, as well as increase the skin’s elasticity.

  • While there can be some discomfort, we use numbing cream before your session to ensure that the whole process is pain-free.

  • Yes. All of our technicians are well-trained and certified in micoroneedling, we only use medical-grade Health Canada approved microneedling devices at Bare. If you have any specific safety or risk-related concerns, we are happy to discuss all details of our microneedling process to ensure you can make a well-informed decision about your treatments.

  • The number of treatments required may vary according to your initial skin condition, age, response to treatment and other factors. However, for most people, 3-4 treatments are usually required.

  • For most people, the results will be most visible 1-3 months after their last treatment.

  • The redness and swelling should go away within 24-48 hours, and then you can fully go back to your daily routine.

    Post-microneedling care:

    • First 48 hours: refrain from hot showers, exercise, saunas, hot tubs.

    • First 24 hours: avoid sun exposure and DO NOT use sunscreen. Avoid make-up.

    • Do not pick skin or treated area, and wash hands frequently.
